  • ….And The Winner Is - The awards season is now fully under way and Silva Screen are please to announce nominations in two forthcoming events, The International Film Music Critics Awards and The Cue Awards. The former have nominated Murray Gold’s Doctor Who music in Best Original Score For A Television Series whilst the latter have Sherlock Season 2 for Best TV Score and Silva Screen for Record Label Of The Year.
  • Mama’s The Best - Canadian-Spanish horror film Mama has triumphed in the number one  spot on this week’s US film chart. Congratulations are due therefore to our partners Quartet who have released Fernando Velazquez’s haunting score which we are distributing digitally worldwide.   • I Grew Up With Soundtracks - On November 26th EMI release the latest in their successful I Grew Up Series with a new set celebrating “the decade, the style, and the music of the 60s”. Silva Screen have supplied a number of tracks including The City Of Prague Orchestra performing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and I Could Have Danced All Night from My Fair Lady. London Music Works contribute with the Batman and Top Cat themes.
