The 39 Steps remains one of London’s biggest theatrical successes, winning an Olivier Award for Best New Comedy and hailed by the critics as a tour-de-force. John Buchan’s gripping thriller and the legendary Alfred Hitchcock film have been adapted to provide a show in which just four actors play a minimum of 139 roles. The show embarks on a six month UK tour from January 2008 and will open on Broadway in the same month.
