Barrington Pheloung is best known
for the theme and incidental music
to the Inspector Morse television
series. He has an immense catalogue
behind him which includes fifty two
ballet scores for many dance companies
worldwide, concertos for numerous
instruments, scores for film, television,
radio, and theatre. He's also
written music for events including
the opening night of the Millennium
Dome and for several West End plays
including Made in Bangkok by Anthony
Minghella, After the Fall by Arthur
Miller and recently The Graduate
by Terry Johnson.
Barrington's film credits
include Hillary and Jackie for which
he was nominated for an Academy Award,
Touching Wild Horses and Shopping.
