Living Magic is Trilok Gurtu’s second album as a leader. An important presence on this release is Jan Garbarek, the great Norwegian saxophonist making a rare appearance outside ECM’s esoteric circle, imprinting Baba and his own composition Once I Wished a Tree Upside Down with his unmistakably, highly-charged and concentrated sound.
