In a world full of musicians using the most modern electronic gadgetry to manufacture high-tech sounds, it’s refreshing to realize that some artists are still committed to creating contemporary music according to centuries-old traditions. The percussionists Glen Velez and Layne Redmond and the flutist Steve Gorn are such artists.
