Bachir Attar is the hereditary leader of the Master Musicians of Jajouka — Morocco, who achieved world wide prominence with the release of “Brian Jones Presents the Pipes of Pan”. The Master Musicians have long held a deep fascination for people as diverse as William Burroughs, The Rolling Stones and Bill Laswell — who produced this recording in 1992.
